… WAIT, that was almost two weeks ago, anyway.

Ok, where do i start? I finally got my ps3, to tell you the truth i got it lke a month ago, but couldn’t get any games until last week.

Resistance was one of those games (it’s the only one i could get, i ended up broke because of the ps3) and is it awesome, im playing it on a SD television (now i’m poor) and it still looks very good.

Also i been watching the latest Hellsing Ultimate OVAS, it’s starting to get real interesting, who would have tough ceras (or is it seras?) could be such a badass girl.

And before i forget, i’m already uploading Quake mission pack 1: scourge or armagon.

Quake Mission Pack 1: Scourge of Armagon

Just finished recording the last level of scourge of armagon.

As always here’s a little info on the game:

Quake Mission Pack 1: Scourge of Armagon is the first official mission pack released on February 28, 1997. It was developed by Hipnotic Interactive. It features fifteen new single player missions, a new multiplayer arena, and gameplay features not originally found in Quake, including rotating structures and breakable walls. New enemies include Centroids, large cybernetic scorpions with nailguns, Gremlins, small goblins that can steal weapons and multiply by feeding on enemy corpses, and Spike Mines, floating orbs that detonate when near the player. New weapons include, Mjolnir, a large lightning emitting hammer, a laser cannon, which shoots bouncing bolts of energy, and a Proximity Mine Launcher, which fires grenades that attach to surfaces and detonate when an opponent comes near.

Story (from the manual)

The blood of Shub-Niggurath lingers in the air like a heavy mist. Chunks of putrid flesh lie in piles throughout the subterranean cavern. Exhausted, you stumble along, searching for an exit from this hellhole. You find a blood-spattered slipgate; a strange juxtaposition of ultra-technology and medieval squalor. Hoping for either paradise or oblivion, you step through the slipgate, gambling on its unknown destination.

In a flash of light and pain you emerge from the slipgate’s quantum vortex in the shiny-clean environment of a modern military base…your home away from home. Leaving bloody footprints in your wake, you step away from the slipgate like a man emerging from a car wreck.

Wearily, you look for some semblance of the life and sanity that you remember from the time before you heard the name “Quake”, but find only emptiness. Despite your recent hellish experience, the strange quiet of the military base is more unsettling than comforting. In fact, it’s not just shellshock that makes it seem quiet, it’s the absolute absence of any life in a place that should be bustling with military activity. Readying your trusty shotgun, you begin a stealthy surveillance.

The hum of a nearby computer terminal catches your attention. Peering closely at the glowing screen, you read the final orders from the base commander: “Quake’s forces have infiltrated the weapons storage facility and are receiving reinforcements through slipgates located at the research center. All personnel are ordered to proceed with evacuation procedure EVAC-44A.” Your heart sinks as you realize that the commander has ordered the base to be sealed to prevent Quake’s forces from infiltrating further into our realm. All weapons and vehicles have been removed to reduce any military advantage that could be gained by taking the base. Any means of escaping or defending yourself are gone.

With the loss of hope comes resolution. Gritting your teeth, you decide that you can either cower here, waiting for Quake’s forces to arrive, or you can take the battle to them, infiltrate the storage facility and take out as many of the bastards as you can. If you were the cowering type, you wouldn’t have survived as long as you have. Who knows, maybe you can find some way of destroying the portal that allows Quake to perpetually send reinforcements.

You go to the slipgate that leads to the weapons facility. Monitors show that the site has already been overrun with the twisted soldiers that follow Quake. Hopefully, they won’t be expecting the likes of you. Gripping your shotgun with both hands, you leap into the gate…Valhalla awaits!

As always i used fraps to record the videos, also as i mentioned on my previous post, i changed the display resolution to 800×600 to increase the video quality.I really enjoyed playing and recording this game and i hope you like the videos.

I’ll start uploading as soon as i’m done with the original quake.

A small change in the new quake videos

Just want to make an announcement.

First i just want to let you know that i just finished recording and encoding the last quake level, the only thing left now its upload.

Now i’m gonna start with the first quake mission pack.

There’ll be a small change on this new videos, i’ll increase the display resolution from 640×400 to 800×600 this is to increase the quality of the recorded video. There’ll be a small difference on the aspect ratio

640×400 the same resolution used on the previous quake videos

800×600 the new resolution i’ll be using while recording the two mission packs

I’ll write about the mission packs later.

Well, if you follow my youtube channel you already know im gonna be uploading some of the games in the Quake series.

Quake will be the first game.

The story (from the manual)

Background: You get the phone call at 4 a.m. By 5:30 you’re in the secret installation. The commander explains tersely, “It’s about the Slipgate device. Once we perfect these, we’ll be able to use them to transport people and cargo from one place to another instantly.
“An enemy codenamed Quake, is using his own slipgates to insert death squads inside our bases to kill, steal, and kidnap.
“The hell of it is we have no idea where he’s from. Our top scientists think Quake’s not from Earth, but another dimension. They say Quake’s preparing to unleash his real army, whatever that is.
“You’re our best man. This is Operation Counterstrike and you’re in charge. Find Quake, and stop him … or it … You have full authority to requisition anything you need. If the eggheads are right, all our lives are expendable.”

Prelude to Destruction: While scouting the neighborhood, you hear shots back at the base. Damn, that Quake bastard works fast! He heard about Operation Counterstrike, and hit first. Racing back, you see the place is overrun. You are almost certainly the only survivor. Operation Counterstrike is over. Except for you.
You know that the heart of the installation holds a slipgate. Since Quake’s killers came through, it is still set to his dimension. You can use it to get loose in his hometown. Maybe you can get to the asshole personally. You pump a round into your shotgun, and get moving.

As you can see from the screenshots, i’m playing with a display resolution of 640 x 400 this is to keep the original aspect ratio. I’ll be playing on hard skill and i’ll try to get all the secrets on every level. Also i’m playing on winquake a windows port.

Well, it’s been more than a month since my last post, i’ve never been the type of person who writes a lot, so lets make this short.

First thing first and this is for the viewers of my youtube channel. I’ll not be uploading any new videos, this is because my isp decided to reduce my upload speed and now it takes almost 3 hours to upload a single 10 min segment.

This doesn’t mean i have stopped recording new videos, in fact i’m actually recording several games (i’ll post about them later)

So, i kindly ask you to be patient while i solve this problem.

That’s right, i’m goin to watch all my unwatched anime (belive me it’s a lot) starting with the newer ones on my hard-drive.

There was a time when i was completely addicted to anime and and downloaded series like crazy, but for some reason i started to lost interest and never watched many of the series i had.

In fact, the last time i watched a complete series was about two and a half years ago, so it’s gonna be a long road.

Sorry for the lack of updates but i’ve been very busy this last 2 weeks, but now that things have calm down a bit i can start posting again.
